Good afternoon friends,
Tomorrow we are having our church fellowship meal for the month with a back to school theme. Bring your favorite school lunch foods to share. We will gather for prayer at 9:30am, for worship service at 10:45am, and for our meal right after church. All are welcome.
Our focus Bible passage for tomorrow is Revelation 8. Our God is a God who prepares the way for His redeemed! I’m looking forward to examining this passage together.
I would encourage each of us to be reaching out regularly to friends, family members, coworkers, and anyone we know who does not know the Lord or who doesn’t have a church home. We believe that Jesus has called us together as New Covenant Fellowship for His glory and for the good of our city. It is good for us to invite people to come with us as we gather. Loneliness and lack of community is an epidemic in our culture today, but even more concerning is the lack of communion with Christ. We have the hope of the gospel which He has given to us and He has given us authority to pass it on to others. All are welcome at our family table, saint and sinner alike. It is our hope that many sinners may come in and leave as saints in Christ. He is doing His work in our world through us just as He said!
