NCF Update 11/16/24

Good morning Church family,

Happy Saturday! May the grace and peace of Christ be with you all. May His presence go with you and may He grant you rest in Him.

Tomorrow is the Lord’s Day and as always I look forward to our time together. As is our habit, we will have prayer at 9:30am and our worship service will begin at 10:45am. Our focus Bible passage for tomorrow is Revelation 13:11-18. We will be looking at the second beast of Revelation, the beast from the earth. What does he represent for us and what is Christ’s purpose in revealing him to us? I believe that we will be encouraged as we see that Christ is Lord even over these beasts who ravage our world, and that their fate is already sealed.

The Christmas season is coming up quickly and so I wanted to go over a couple of upcoming events with you.

First, I invite you to stay after church on Sunday November 24th as we decorate our building for the Christmas season. We plan to order pizza for everyone who wants to participate. This will be a good time together as we deck the halls while listening to Christmas music, enjoy hot cocoa, and plenty of coffee.

Secondly, the Bethany Hometown Christmas event is scheduled for Friday, December 6th. Serve will be open and there will be activities for the whole family. We would love to have you join us as we serve our community together. Further details will be coming soon.

Thirdly, our annual NCF Christmas Party and Fellowship Meal is scheduled for December 15th after church. We will give further details in the coming weeks, but I wanted to make sure everyone has this on your calendar.

I’m looking forward to being with you all tomorrow. The Lord has been good to us, and He has given us another weekend within which to enjoy Him through rest and through fellowship with one another. May His light shine upon you and through you into others. May He give you a clear vision for who He is calling you to carry His message to. See you in the morning!

In His steps,

Pastor Nick

Acts 16:10 ESV, “And when Paul had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go on into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.”
