NCF Update 04/12/25

Good morning church family,

I am looking forward to spending time with many of you this evening as we celebrate Passover Seder together. We will begin at 6pm with setup at 5pm. Anyone who wants to come early to help get things ready is welcome.

Tomorrow is Palm Sunday! I am very much looking forward to celebrating this special day with you all. We will have palms for all and some fun participation for our kids. Join us at 9:30am for prayer and at 10:45am for worship.

Tomorrow’s focus Bible passage is Revelation 19: 1-10 as we examine heaven’s culture of worship. Can you imagine what it will be like to stand with the host of heaven and praise the Lord? Tomorrow we will get a glimpse of that once again and we will be thinking about how we can engage in that heavenly culture of worship even now.

On Friday April 18th at 7pm we will host our annual Good Friday service. This will be a time of reflection on the cross of Jesus and all that He has done for us. All are welcome.

Lastly, April 20th is Easter! I would encourage you to invite your friends, family members, and neighbors who don’t have a church home to join us on Easter Sunday. This time of the year is a natural time to invite people to church since many people are thinking about Jesus due to the holiday. It’s especially a good time to reengage people who may have walked away from the church. We have been called by Christ to be his ambassadors according to II Corinthians 5. Here is a good opportunity for us to exercise our calling.

May the grace in peace of the Lord be with you all. May your Saturday be filled with reflections of his goodness and glory. May you know his presence today. Much love to you from The Tarter household and from the NCF family.

In His steps,

Pastor Nick

1 Peter 1:3-4 CSB — “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead and into an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.”
