NCF Update 01/04/25

Good afternoon church family,

Happy New Year to you all! Sorry I’m a little late getting this to you today. It’s been a busy week, but a good one. I hope that you have found time to rest in the Lord today and to reflect on His goodness towards you.

Tomorrow we get to gather together for the first time this year and I am so looking forward to being with you. We will have prayer at 9:30am and worship service at 10:45am as usual.

Our focus Bible passage for tomorrow is Revelation 14:6-13. With this new year, I believe the Lord would call us all to refocus ourselves on His word and His will for our lives. We join with the angels of heaven in carrying the eternal light of the gospel of Christ’s kingdom into our world. People need the hope that we have, and Jesus wants to deliver them from the vanity and destruction sin brings. He is good!

Grace and peace be with you all. Thanks for your prayers for my family and for me as we fought off the flu last week. We missed being with you last Sunday. We will all be very happy to be back with you in the morning.

I know it will be cold tomorrow, but our worship space will be nice and warm with smiling faces to greet you. I would encourage everyone not to miss the opportunity to start our year off together in worship, prayer, and opening the word of God. Fellowship with Christ’s body is so very good for us. Nothing builds our faith and lives quite like being present with Christ’s people.

You are loved friends! See you tomorrow.

In His steps,

Pastor Nick

Revelation 14:7, “And he said with a loud voice, ‘Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come, and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.'”
