Good afternoon church family,
I hope you are having a good Saturday. Tomorrow is the Lord’s Day and we look forward to gathering together to celebrate Christ! I greatly enjoy our wonderful fellowship with one another and I know that it honors Christ when we come together to worship Him and to build one another up in Him.
Tomorrow is our January Fellowship Meal. Our theme is soup and sandwiches. No doubt, a warm bowl of soup will hit the spot on a chilly day. We invite you to stay after church for the meal accompanied by a great time together and a time of celebration for what God has done through our Serve Coffee ministry over the years.
We will begin the morning with prayer at 9:30am as is our habit and we invite everyone to come a little early to pray. I am convinced that prayer together is critical to our growth and to the advancement of the gospel assignment Jesus has given our church. We hope you will join us.
We will follow our prayer time with our worship service at 10:45am. Our focus passage is Revelation 15 in which we peer into heaven and view our future as saints of Christ. We get a glimpse of those who are forever victorious over the Beast in Christ worshiping Jesus in His presence. May this image burn into our hearts and motivate us to walk in Christ now and always as we await our glorious future with Him and all of His children!
May the grace and peace of Christ rest upon you and your house today. You are loved friends! Remember those who are hurting, sick, or enduring sorrow. Pray for one another. If any of you are going through a difficult season and need someone to talk to, the elders, deacons, and I are all available to you.
In His steps,
Pastor Nick
Revelation 15:3 NASB2020, And they sang the song of Moses, the bond-servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, ‘Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are Your ways, King of the nations!'”
