NCF Update 02/01/25

Good morning church family,

Welcome to February (that seemed to come quickly). Tomorrow is the Lord’s Day and I am looking forward to being together with you all! We will be gathering at 9:30am for prayer and at 10:45am for worship as usual.

Our focus Bible passage for tomorrow is Colossians 3:20-21. We will be looking at what the parent/child relationship teaches us about our relationship with The Lord, and how it provides us with a wonderful opportunity to grow in repentance and belief in Jesus. Whether you have kids of your own or not, I trust that this passage will enrich you and encourage you in your walk with the Lord and with one another.

Tomorrow after church the NCF Youth are having a fellowship time together. For more information please contact Ryan Stephens.

On February 9th we will be having a church wide fellowship breakfast along with our annual family meeting. During this time we will discuss the current state of the church, refresh our vision, and discuss some plans for the coming year. We hope you will make plans to join us for this time together.

We get the joy of having Dennis and Sheila Cole with us on February 15th for a one day marriage seminar. This is for those who are currently married, would like to be married, and those who aren’t married but want to grow in their knowledge of Biblical marriage. Dennis & Sheila Cole have been married for over 50 years and they know what it takes to stick together for better or for worse. To register for the seminar visit https://tithe.ly/event-registration/#/9726768 or you can register in person at church. The cost is $25 per person ($20 per person if you are a member or regular NCF attender). If you are registering online use the code NCFFAM to get the discount.

May your Saturday be blessed and filled with restfulness in the Lord. May His grace and peace be with you. I love and appreciate you all.

In His steps,

Pastor Nick

Colossians 3:17, “Whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.”
