NCF Update 03/22/25

Good afternoon church family,

Tomorrow is the Lord’s Day! It is a joy for us to gather together to honor His name and to build one another up in Him. We are a gift from Christ to one another, empowered by His Spirit to minister to one another. His stated aim is that we might grow to maturity and that we would be well equipped to carry on the work of Christ’s ministry in our world (Ephesians 4).

Tomorrow is a fellowship meal Sunday. We would love to have you join us for lunch after church. Bring something to share if you can, but even if you can’t bring something you should plan to come anyway.

We will meet in the morning for prayer at 9:30am and for worship at 10:45am. Our focus passage for our time together tomorrow is Revelation 17. We will see that the Lord’s plan for this world will prevail in the end, and that evil can’t help but to eat its own. Christ is glorious, and those of us who are in Him will be raised to glory with Him!

The NCF Women’s Ministry is hosting a Tea event on Saturday, April 5th from 11am to 2pm. For more information, please contact Debbie ONeal.

We are working on plans to host a Passover Seder at Serve on the evening of Saturday, April 12th. Save the date as this will be a meaningful experience as we prepare our hearts for Good Friday and Easter. If you are interested in helping with organizing and preparing for this event, contact Mitch Reeves.

May the grace and peace of Christ be with you as you enjoy this beautiful Saturday. May you have time to rest and reflect on His goodness in your life. I am thankful for you all, and I look forward to spending time with you in the morning. See you then!

In His steps,

Pastor Nick

Matthew 19:29-30 CSB — “And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields because of my name will receive a hundred times more and will inherit eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”
